How to Schedule Your Procedure
Contact our doctor to arrange your surgery date.
Pre-Operative Investigations
Your surgeon will provide a list of required pre-op tests during your consultation. Completing these tests is the first step to confirm your suitability for surgery.

Physician and Cardiac Clearance
A medical clearance from your physician or cardiologist is mandatory before surgery. They will specify necessary tests and provide a signed letter, which must be presented at your pre-op visit.
Insurance
Our insurance coordinator will reach out prior to your pre-op visit to discuss any associated costs, payable at that appointment.
5 Days Before Surgery
Discontinue blood-thinners, anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs), supplements, vitamins, and herbal remedies 7 days prior. If prescribed by a doctor, obtain their approval to stop these medications.
Pre-Op Visit
Schedule a pre-op consultation with Dr. Ankit Khodifad or Dr. Nevish Patel one week before surgery. The team will explain the procedure, address your queries, and obtain your signed consent. Bring:
Relevant x-rays or MRI scans
All pre-op test results
An updated list of medications with dosages
The Day Prior to Surgery
Refrain from eating or drinking after midnight.
Shower the morning of surgery with antibacterial soap or hibiclens.
Avoid using powder, lotion, deodorant, perfume, or aftershave.
Arrival and Registration
Arrive on time as instructed.
For open or MIS procedures, hospital admission is required one day prior.
For endoscopic procedures, arrive 3-4 hours before the scheduled start time. Note that if you’re not the first case, delays may occur.
